DIY Mold and Mildew Removal

DIY mold and mildew removal can be done at home, but please invest in the correct safety gear; goggles, overalls, gloves and a respirator. Molds such as black mold can be toxic so it is vital to remove  it as soon as possible. There are many products on the market but I have selected below some very good ones that stand out above the rest.

I am personally using Spray Nine as it is like a two in one product, it cleans and well as disinfects. I use this product first if the mold is not too advanced. According to the manufacturer: Spray Nine can also be used for outdoor surfaces such as patio furniture and barbecue grills where cleaning and disinfecting are of prime concern.  To control mold and mildew on surfaces such as vinyl fencing, siding and composite decking, use Spray Nine.  Spray the product on the surface and allow it to remain wet for 3 minutes before rinsing and Spray Nine will control the re-growth of mold and mildew.

If you have a severe case of mold and mildew, then try the Mold Killer below, and follow it up with the Black Mold Stain Remover as combined, this is a seriously powerful eradicator of mold. These products are made by Mineral Methods and are as natural as can be: The plant extremities in Mold KillerTM do not aid in residual environmentally harmful components. I have used these two products on carpet as a last ditch attempt to save it and it removed the mold and the musty smell too.
